Exhibition of Arts, Crafts & Cuisine

A showcase of the arts and crafts of various nations, including their traditional dressing, traditional instruments and other items. Those attending the exhibition will be able to look around the stalls of the various nations showcased, ask questions and have a go at using some of the items.

Musical & Dance Performances

The exhibition will be followed by a series of performances by cultural groups representing selected continents of the world. These performances will be music, dance, drama or poetry recitations to showcase the rich traditional heritage of each nation highlighted.

Deborah Anderson dancers are a renowned team of traditional Irish dancers who have performed at many different venues across Ireland including the Belfast Waterfront and in Dublin for the Israeli ambassador’s reception amongst many other events.

Beyond Skin's Motion Project is Northern Ireland's largest multicultural music collective that contains artists from many different countries. The Motion Project tours around NI providing unique world music interactive programs and performance.  Beyond Skin also produces Homely Planet - intercultural Radio focusing on cultural education, world and roots music.

This truly international band of top-flight musicians from Zimbabwe , Poland, Slovakia, and Ireland was formed in Belfast in 2007 and brings a new slant to African rhythms mixing the eclectic approaches and influences of the players.

The fashion show will be a showcase of the colour, vibrancy and diversity of traditional dress of the nations featured, from Africa to Asia, Europe and beyond.

There will be opportunities to have a go at traditional dances from across the globe, Participate in traditional singing and learn to play instruments from many different countries.

There will be a lively and light hearted discussion about issues of cultural interest with an opportunity for the audience to ask questions and contribute to the discussions.

What is Expo Nations?

Expo Nations is an initiative of Place of Victory for All Nations (PVN). It provides an opportunity for people from different nations to learn more about each other in a fun-filled and relaxed atmosphere.
